Information we collect

• Account information: email address, name (optional), and a hashed password.
• QR code content: titles, types, destination data, customization settings, and images you upload (such as logos).
• Scan analytics: scan counts and related metadata (such as time, optional user agent, and optional IP address) used to power tracking for your codes.
• Payment information: when you purchase Premium for a QR code, payments are processed by Stripe. We store related billing identifiers (such as Stripe customer or payment references), not your full card number.
• Support messages: if you contact us, we receive the name, email, and message you submit.

How we use information

• Provide and improve the QR generator, dashboard, and scan tracking
• Authenticate your account and secure access
• Process Premium upgrades and related receipts
• Send transactional email such as password reset links
• Respond to support requests

Cookies and sessions

We use session cookies required for login (NextAuth). These are essential for the service to work. We do not currently use non-essential advertising cookies.

Service providers

We use trusted processors to run the product, including hosting (for example Vercel), database storage, Stripe for payments, and Resend for transactional and contact email. They only process data as needed to provide their services.

Data retention

We keep account and QR data while your account is active. Scan records may be kept to support analytics and historical limits. You can delete individual QR codes from your dashboard. For account deletion or data requests, contact us.

Your choices

You can update your password in Settings, request a password reset when locked out, and manage or delete your QR codes. For privacy questions or requests, use our Contact page.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
